He'll back off if he’s “persuaded that the position I currently hold isn’t the correct one.” Fuckwit needs persuading, all right . . . with a 2x4.

I know. I yawn every new utterance of it. Wingnuts ought to get a new catch phrase. Nazis, INPEACH! and Muzlin are passé these days,.

Can Nick Marshall's complaints against Nixon be counted as a jeremiad?

So of all the problems that I understand Missouri to have, the one that deserves immediate action is to undermine filing of state taxes (snooze) of legally married same-sex couples. May I suggest that there are more pressing issues, such as the presence of one Nick Marshall in the state Senate?

Fitzgerald Chesterfield's avatar

“accepting the jointly-filed state tax returns of all legally-married couples who file Federal returns is the only appropriate course of action, given Missouri statues [sic]????? and the ruling by the U.S. Department of Treasury.”

The use of Missouri statues to determine law is an important tenant of their judicial system and it is not for us to refudiate that.

PsycWench's avatar

Those statues are fixed, for all intensive purposes, so arguing is a mute point.

Nick, if you’re going to get your diapers in bunch why not try something important like Missouri’s 41st rating in education?

A "Wonkette Prime" version. I might pay for that.
