"Why can't I ban anything I don't like" is no way to take down democracy, son. Ain't you pretty much reproachable for teachin' all them innocent young minds about the horrors an skulduggery what am the 'Murikan Gubbamint? Instead of wasting everybody's time by opening your pie hole thus confirming what everyone already knew about your vacant brain pan, if you don't like the Queer Book, then, take a hint from that abortoplex bumper sticker and don't fucking read it, you traitor gargling hippocritical asshat!
In my senior year, 1972-1973, I had a history teacher, a woman who had married a gym teacher, whose family had been one of the founder families of my town.So she made big deal of that, even though she was from NYC, and definitely NOT WASP like him.
Anyway, whilst putting on airs, she was a vile conservative in the days of Nixon, and in my class I and a friend, who was the only black kid in the class, kept correcting her about the bullshit she spewed, especially about current events.
It finally came to a head the second-to-last week of class, and she had both of us removed from the class. This would've actually resulted in both of us to not be able to graduateFortunately, my mother knew the vice-pricipal and was able to get both me and my friend reinstated (which left my friend always thanking my mom like forever).
The V-P could not stop the vile teacher from giving us both F's for the year, but nothing's pefect...
Why is it that so many Americans neither understand nor appreciate the fact that FUNDAMENTALLY our NATION was intended and designed to be a Democracy; while, about a dozen years later, our GOVT was intended and designed to be a Constitutional Republic?
These are two related but distinct entities.
This understanding is not simply a pedantic exercise in grammer; rather, it has profound implications regarding the relationship of each and every USA citizen to our fellow citizens ... and to our govt.
This lack of understanding is what I refer to as our National Scandal, our National Embarrassment and our National Shame; which, given its current trajectory, will lead to our eventual collapse.
Ohh, he's Sovereign Citizen, that's why he sounds so weird. Those people cannot just talk normally. "The Sovereign People" with the gratuitous capitalization... dead giveaway.
Weirdly, my junior high school showed that at some holiday assembly — why, I have no idea. But we had a long break from class and watched a not terribly funny old movie.
Maybe they realized they'd shown "The Great Race" too many times. Push the button, Max!
I read the Flathead Beacon story about the library trustees. Pissed off to read that their only agenda is force upon the library and staff their unwelcome opinions and lack of knowledge on what a library should be. Heartache for those on the front lines of this “war”.

To me, ALL emojis are depressing and unneeded. Can't they all use WORDS?
But this one is certainly pulling some strings...
“Democracy is a methodology of government that has failed”
the current motto of the Republican Party
Adolf himself could not have expressed it more clearly
Yes, they are.
every accusation is a confession (EAIAC) should be the new It's OK If You're a Republican (IOKIYAR)

"No fair outvoting me!" seems to be the reichwing anthem.
