It took about 2 years, but the first SSDI check I got counted the time from when I applied in the first place, so I got a check for past benefits on my first check.

There's something very wrong with our media too. Conservative voices have the loudest megaphone. Dems maybe aren't great at messaging (hard to boil nuance down to a short sound bite), but the Cons are getting the most coverage. The status quo must be preserved.
