If you gave Joe and Mika the benefit of the doubt for their kissing the ring episode at Mar a Lago, the exchange with David Frum is a crystal clear illustration of their obeisance. MSNBC's ratings suffered during the Biden years; many potential viewers seemed not to feel the urgency being conveyed by the best hosts and frequent guests.
No one can deny the urgency now. A second Trump term will require the engagement and resistance of all of us. I hope it will bring a renewed appreciation for those like Nicolle Wallace, Chris Hayes, and Lawrence O'Donnell (who has been on fire for months) who never did take their eyes off the ball; and I pray the network--a lonely bastion for those of us looking for facts and not spin--regains and surpasses its previous heights. If nothing else, that is something constructive that a Trump reassumption of office might bring.

I have never seen Joe and Mika. A number of reasons. I don't watch cable news (except for Rachel), I don't watch Joe and Mika specifically (for obvious reasons), and apparently it's on at a time when decent people understand they should be unconscious.
