I think this is the best thread to say this. I finally heard from a friend that works at the Capitol. She's with the Architect of the Capitol doing cool stuff like preserving the buildings on the Capitol grounds. She's primarily upset about the officers saying she would chat with them during her travels around the campus. And seeing the damage to the buildings she works so hard to preserve. I am happy she is safe. I am so angry that these fuckers were on a mission to kill my fellow feds. Fucking garbage people.

It reminds me of a prom and an after party I went to when I was senior. I had taken a 10th grader as my "date" because sophomores and freshman needed a junior or senior to take them. (Small school; juniors organized the prom, seniors simply enjoyed it,) We were both in the trumpet section of jazz band and were friends, but not terribly close.
The person who invited us to the after party was the notorious pothead of my senior class. But once we saw her actually start rolling a joint, I realized it wasn't the kind of party I wanted to expose to the innocent little 10th grader I'd brought along, so we quickly left.
