Yes, we can.

As I have been listening to music and going to shows all my life, I do end up having very specific opinions, and since I hang around and talk to people who have the same or very similar opinions, that reinforces my beliefs.

But when I was still working I had a friend there who was a very nice woman, and I gt along with her even though she was a conservative and very religious. She knew about my expertise with music and I often had to look up stuff on Amazon. So she asked me if I could help her order some stuff for her. The CDs were of this very bad Christian music, but I orderded them for her becuse she was a friend. Of course it took forvever for Amazon to stop suggesting other Christian music I would like.

As for myself, though growing up in the 60s to 70s, I still listen to new music. I often buy albums and listen to music by artists ⅓ my age. And some people I know don't like the new stuff, and others don't like the old stuff.

I am sorry that you are dyslexic, and when I first started having problems with my fingers I though of them turning dyslexic on me. I actually went to the doctor before she told me what should've been obvious - I was getting arthritis. Oops!

I get that you "don't feel I need to watch every word to make sure it's right" and I guess most people are like that. But I grew up being the best speller and the best as grammar, and that has stuck with me. But now, when my fingers type the wrong letters it gets very annoying, and I have to fix it.

So yea, we can call a truce, and I think we can say that we both like Santana, right?
