The only real Star Wars is written and directed by George Lucas. That means Episodes I, II, III, and IV. Everything else is fake Star Wars. Not liking I, II, III is like liking Lohengrin but not Der Ring des Nibelungen. So there.
Boycotting Star Wars can only work if you were masochistic enough to consider watching it in the first place. After being dragged to 7 by my kids, I swore never again.
