If he's talking, he's wrong.
Last time we visited with sage pundit Bill Kristol, who is never wrong, he seemed to be slowly pivoting from his #NeverTrump stance on the 2016 election. Now, it was #NeverSayNever, instead of #NeverTrump. He was being "ambiguous," he said! So coy, that Bill Kristol. But then Breitbart's David Horowitz had to go and call him a "Renegade Jew," and maybe that made him double down on hating Donald Trump, along the lines of "I know YOU are a Renegade Jew, David Horowitz, but what am I?" Oh, you silly boys.
So Sunday afternoon, Kristol decided to leave a Memorial Day "news" dump on Twitter. There will be a new candidate! It will be a good candidate! It will be #NeverTrump!
Ooh ooh ooh! So exciting! Bill Kristol has found a winning candidate, just like that time when he discovered Sarah Palin and she became a half-term Wasilla grifter princess who quits things! Maybe this will be that good?
[wonkbar][/wonkbar]Maybe it will be Sarah Palin herself! Pffffffft, you are saying, Sarah Palin has been up Trump's ass from the beginning. PFFFFFFT, we are saying right back, because she's such a grifter, if somebody (Bill Kristol?) convinced her she could bank some ca$h by mounting an independent run, she'd fly out of Trump's ass faster than moose chili the morning after Thanksgiving.
But it's probably not she. : (
Anyway, Trump says Kristol is a piece of shit, and of course he used the presidential medium of Twitter to say that:
Well, goodness, Wonkette must admit that Donald Trump is right about a thing. Bill Kristol IS an embarrassed loser!
Anywho, CBS gives some clues about who Kristol's phantom candidate might be. (Sarah? Mitt Romney? Paul Ryan? Jesus??????)
A source who is also part of the effort to recruit a candidate to run against Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton told CBS News' Julianna Goldman not to expect an announcement for a couple of weeks.
The Washington Post had reported a little over two weeks ago that GOP operatives had mounted an effort to derail Donald Trump by bringing in another conservative candidate. Goldman confirmed that several names were being considered at the time, including former Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and retired Army Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal.
Well shit, those are some boring candidates.
As we have discussed time and time again, Bill Kristol is always wrong, so he is probably wrong now. Or maybe he's right just this one time, except for the part about how the candidate will be good and strong and have a chance of winning. He's wrong about something, that we are 100% sure of.

No, they can be different kinds of wrong. And are.
IT'S BERNIE!?!?
