The New Hampshire Democratic primary is finally over and so are the presidential ambitions of several candidates whose campaigns only really existed when directly observed.
I LOLed at your first sentence. Bravo, Stephen. Bravo.
I listened to Bill Bryson's book on Australia (In a Sunburned Country) and it was delightful, except all he said about the politics was no one could understand them and the parties were incomprehensible. It made for a very short chapter.
Cis women need health care "the same as the rest of us." Catholic hospitals kill us. Cis women need housing, as do their kids. Cis women need pay equity. Anyone with a penis gets paid more. Are you saying trans people need to get more rights faster than cis women? That's not calling for equal rights, that's calling for special treatment. And I call that bullshit.
I think I see the issue here: I didn’t know people were equating “man of faith” with evangelicals exclusively. They may do so, but must everyone else follow their lead? Anyway, I’ve got zero dogs in this hunt. But I thank you for clarifying things.
In the public sphere in America, I believe that hard right evangelicals have usurped that brand. They’ve also captured the “Christian” brand. If we look beyond contemporary “branding,” I agree with you. But politically and socially, we’ve lost that battle.
Oh sorry, I meant I envied you the greens and labour, didn’t mean to make you discuss the nasty far-right (we’ve got plenty of those). But, anyway, many thanks for all the information you get to us regularly. I think we should be sending you both hazard pay AND a teaching stipend!
I'm not hearing it from Bernie's people in my neighborhood. They gonna stay home (they say). I felt like an ass admitting I would vote for anybody but they wouldn't vote for anybody else.
Bernie's people don't need anything but our vote. That's been made very clear.
Thank you, I guess? Pretty weird.

Untrue. Canada has tried it, but then the party in charge changed. It did have definite benefits. Do some research.
Snerk. I'm glad I have now.
Use it in good health!

And they've all forgotten that so much of what is attributed to Jesus can be boiled down to: Don't be an asshole.

The two lessons I learned from the Wedding Feast at Canaan is:
1. If possible, skip the ceremony and just go for the party, and2. Wedding receptions should always serve top shelf.
GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE, YANG!

Snark tags help in these situations sometimes. Thank you for this non- comment! :-)

I hope your mileage varies.
You're not kidding. At all.
I've got tweets and quotes saved from a rage-induced survey after too many encounters with exactly this stuff from 2016. And I'm not even a PoC.
