The official name is the Mario Cuomo Bridge. No one will use it. No one called the old bridge the Malcolm Wilson Bridge, either. No one calls the Queensboro Bridge the Ed Koch Bridge or the Triboro the RFK Bridge. About the only renaming that has stuck in the last 30 years or so is that a lot of people really do call the old Interboro Parkway the Jackie Robinson Parkway.
