Dok, I heartily approve of Wonkette's continuing coverage of NYT complicity. But they are an open enemy what is also too as cringingly stupid and weak as any Legislative Shitmuffin nominee.
Don't you think it's time that the Wonkette Style guide be amended to refer to them everywhere, ESPECIALLY HEADLINES, in the properly insulting manner.

The media is partly to blame for this mess, having fumbled their responsibility to cover Trump honestly without sanewashing his behavior since 2016. Remember when they couldn’t bring themselves to call his lies “lies?” They used any other description to avoid being unfair to the great man, who was potus after all. They’ve been passive about his repugnant behavior for a decade now. No other person could lie as frequently and as transparently, often about the most absurd things, and behave the way he has and hope to save their political career. But for the media, that’s just Trump being Trump. Boys will be boys. Why do Democrats always get so flustered about him? That’s just what Trump wants. You want Trump to withdraw the troops and ICE and L.A. will be fine? Then ignore Trump and all this will surely go away, right media? Both sides and all.
When Trump starts arresting the editors at media outlets who criticize him, maybe that will finally motivate them to stop asking why Dems are so reactive. They will be too busy screaming for justice, due process, and their constitutional rights. And it will be too late.
The jackals are manipulative abusers, I've given up wondering how many are bots & what the motivation of those that aren't is, fun, profit, ignorance, or all three. The reasons why do not matter, the harm being done does.
It is abuse, 1st even putting one "side" into the role of being responsible for maintaining civility, then blaming them when there is no civility. It's manipulating people, treating them like naughty child. Anger is the appropriate, adult response. Emotional manipulation is pathological & can't be tolerated.
