This might be the argument that brings this statement into question: "Obviously, no one at the New York Times is on Trump or the GOP's payroll..."

Basics of journalism in an authoritarian regime. Do not repeat propaganda. Do not give lies a platform. Do not give “both” sides as a legitimate argument that is then used against real journalism. We are better than this, my fellow journalists.

Shit like this is why I never read the NYT. I want to know actual facts and not simply opinions from "both sides".

He'd just tell me that's a libtard myth. I just see his stuff on social media, but don't engage. It's not worth the time. He hates lawyers, unless they are wingnuts who support his wingnut views.

Would that be an example of false equivalency? That just because two parties are opposed doesn't mean their views are equally valid in a debate..?

Now that he's figured out how to totally undermine the credibility of all the "fake news," I'd be shocked if he'd be willing to pay the Times to run anything other than glowing approval in their paper.

I wonder if this would work on my cat. She hates limes.

In the olden days cheap corsets from the MW or S&R catalogue used cellulose stays. The last cellulose mfg. went out of business decades ago.
