On this fine morning we are pleased to present a genuine rarity: A Republican politician who seems sincerely worried about mass shootings! Former New Hampshire State Sen. Jim Rubens, who is officially eyeing Jeanne Shaheen's US Senate seat, made the following Valuable Contribution to the Discourse in a 2009 blog post:
Yes! Bring back those manufacturing jobs to New Hampshire! Reopen the Abbott-Downing Stagecoach Manufacturer! And that place that made wagon wheels for the whole nation! And the locomotive builder. Why, it's barely been a century since the textile producers and the brickworks left.
If only there were some kind of program ... I don't know, some sort of financial process -- maybe even at the federal level? -- that could provide funding to reinvigorate local industries, to, like, stimulate the economy, so to speak, and create jobs. Hey I'm just brainstorming here. Just something the GOP might think of proposing in Washington.
That means the crime rate is going down. Thanks to more guns! Or more video games! There seems to be correlation which is always the same as causation, right?
" the only state to have an all-female chief executive and congressional delegation"; also, same-sex marriage and medical MJ approved.
Due to the large number of Bostonians invading the lower half of the state (all 6 square miles of it) and turning the hardscrabble dairy farms into upscale organic weekend chalets, NH is in grave danger of becoming a blue state. Maybe they should call the League of the South for some advice.

Except that fuck Obama would probably veto it.
Problem Jim Rubens claims to identify: Toxic masculinity is literally murdering us one by one
Solution Jim Rubens proposes: We must do all the pandering to toxic masculinity.
Fuckhead.
Totally coincidentally, the state appeals court ruling was 2R to 1D.
Hey, I have a gun. Well, that's what I call it anyway.
There is some high-powered toxic Derp in there.
It's a beautiful state. Such a shame about the people.
The good news is gun manufacturing jobs are rebounding. Also morticians.
Men do seem to like a fulsome woman, but I believe it's considered outré these days to hire on the basis of bra size.
Except when it comes to GOP female candidates, natch.

"Women already outnumber men in management, professional, and related occupations."
I, for one, welcome our female overlords.
