I don't think anyone listens to the VP. I would so much rather have Sanders in the Senate, where he can do real work, and where he has a chance of actually pushing on the progressive platform he seeks. If he has a bit of sense (assumes facts not yet in evidence), he'll figure out how to rebuild some damaged relations with the Dems there.

I also think it would be a real shame for Clinton not to choose a Latino VP. That is a big voting bloc, and they have not yet had much of a voice in this election, despite having a big stake in its outcome. Sanders should not rob the Hispanic voters of their voice. He's already doing too much of that.
