1. Obviously, Booker is the better choice for Senator.

2. Rebecca, if it's really true that "(Actually, we don’t really get it. But we guess the 27-year-old us who voted for Nader kind of gets it? Nope, still not getting it).", then you have lost touch with the 27-year-old us who voted for Nader.

Booker is considerably more centrist Wall-Street Democrat than was Gore. The fact that he has a more engaging personality doesn't change that. It is your absolute right to have any opinion you want about the guy, but if you're really "not getting" the negative feelings from others, you've changed a lot in the last 13 years.

FWIW, if I lived in New Jersey, I would, of course, vote for Booker. I'm a Democrat. I voted for Gore.

This is all part of a plan brought to us by the genius strategists of the GOP, who once again are targeting their base. The LoneAgain campaign has made a calculation that there are enough redneck white male losers in NJ to get him elected, which might even be true if a) Newark, Camden and the northern counties all seceded, and b) if those jamokes voted. (Newsflash: Springsteen's fans vote Dem these days.)

Also, thank youse for this:

You are all like waaaaah, banks! We get it. (Actually, we don’t really get it. But we guess the 27-year-old us who voted for Nader kind of gets it? Nope,

Time to get on the soultrain to Washington, friends. Booker C is leaving the station.

Political advisor: "You need to broaden your appeal beyond the hard-core moron teabager demographic." Lonegan: "I know exactly what to do -- I'll get Palin to endorse me!"

The only thing I can't quite nail down here is which of the two said which line.

I'm sure he's found a couple of women with whom that line, along with 50 bucks, works every time.
