People who live down the shore all year round do not, in fact, get to be on vacation all year round. They work at stores, or offices, or pet groomers, or Bagels By the Sea. I figured that out when I was like EIGHT.

Many need to be ferried to the mainland for their immigration appointments that were lined up in various US cities BEFORE they were rounded up and shipped to MV where none had prior contacts or awareness*and where there is no immigration office*.The commonwealth is making arrangements for housing on a military base at Cape Cod… DeSantis is one depraved man but, we know -- cruelty is the whole point."

I can Google the specific statues if anybody is interested, but this particular stunt is definitely "kidnapping by deception" and possibly human trafficking.
Flopsweat Ron is the worst, most scumbaggy GOP politician I think I've ever seen, imo worse than Trump and GWB combined, and the people he is surrounding himself with are just awful. That the Rufo is front and center at virtually all of Ron's dumb, dishonest pressers is mind boggling to me.
I think the FL GOP is working on a bill that would forcibly remove kids from their parents, if the parents are under suspicion of signing off on "gender affirming care" for said kids. Let's say something incredibly messed up like that passes..."Critics are saying" it wouldn't make it through any court challenge, but I have little faith on "our institutions" saving kids from getting kidnapped and mentally abused by the state of FL, not to mention the harm to their parents.
Same people that think school genital inspections and other arbitrary invasions of privacy for schoolkids is a-ok.
Between this FL culture wars crap and TX looking to give "up to 100% rebate on property tax" if one's HH has 10 kids, it's obvious that the health and well being of both child and parent are of no concern at all to today's eff'd up GOP!
