Perhaps Big Vitamin D's checks stopped arriving so he has to do something to fill his time. ;)

Interesting - 1 under Jimmy Carter, 3 under Bill Clinton, and 2 each under GW Bush and Barack Obama. Slightly surprised by Bush, but not completely. He strikes me as more of the ingrained racist who doesn't even realize it (oblivious to his white privilege), rather than the outspoken and knowing white supremacist like Reagan and Trump.

That's weird - black women are judges ALL THE TIME in the movies and on TV!

Maybe a nice, cold lager, but more likely a glass of chilled white wine while sitting on a shady patio. Or an icy pina colada at a beach bar in the Caribbean. Yeah, that's the ticket!!

And possibly the guy who hung the Confederate flag out of his window, people are saying, I'm just asking the question, I mean, we would be foolish not to speculate...

(I have no idea if they were at Harvard in the same decade)

So Candace Jackson-Akiwumi was nominated for Amy Carrot's 7th Circuit seat. She's been approved by the committee but has yet to get a floor vote. I think she was grilled in Judiciary the same day as Ketanji Brown-Jackson. She was also impressive. She worked as a federal public defender for 10 years.

"Had he been honest, nobody would vote for him"

Awesome campaign strategy you're advocating.

Doesn't really matter; they sign off on them, they take responsibility.

Slowly but surely, Democrats can fill the courts--just have to hold the Senate as long as possible. And follow the McConnell rule of not letting any GOP president's picks come to a vote, ever.

Just another crime committed by Obama and his time machine
