I have deeply ambivalent feelings about this story. On the one hand, I hate scumbag grifters, and then again, I also despise wealthy people who are obviously far too fucking stupid to have earned a single dime in their lives.

This woman doesn't strike me as "wealthy", I mean she cleaned out her savings and refinanced her house for this... Certainly would have had a comfortable retirement, but hardly champagne wishes and caviar dreams.
