Check the news out of Idaho today about a right-wing religious investor firm pressuring COSTCO. Hmmm.

I think we need to mount a campaign to force companies to not sell Viagra.

No more boner pills.

Boners lead to unwanted pregnancies, and to all sorts of bad behavior, like letting old guys bump their old wrinkled uglies in women they're not married to.

Down with Viagra!!!!!

I thought it was funny that, when a Costco opened in my hometown in Minnesota about 15 or 16 years ago, my parents signed up as members immediately and LOVED the place. Mom would call me here in England and talk for 15 minutes about how she and Dad would go there every Saturday for lunch because it was so good and so cheap and what a great place it was. My niece (their granddaughter), in high school, got a part-time job there and Mom would tell me what a great place it was because they treated (and paid) their employees so well.

Then trump came along and my parents became trump worshipers. They still loved their cheap Saturday hot dog lunch lunches and buying cleaning products in bulk (because my mom is an anal-compulsive neat freak) and never had a bad word to say about Costco. UNTIL...the whole "fuck you" to trump with the DEI thing. My kids tell me that my mom suddenly declared Costco was the worst place on the planet and they couldn't figure out why they'd been wasting their money on those memberships—which, of course, they canceled—for so long when it was a crap place from the start.

But it's not a cult, I guess?

Thanks for clearing this up about my good neighbor Costco. I live the next town over from Kirkland, WA. They are one of the good guys. I was disappointed in them before reading this and it lifts my spirits.

Bit like terrorist groups. Something goes 'Boom!' and a half-dozen groups claim responsibility.

Actually, almost exactly like terrorist groups... hmm!

Wonder if it is an insurance thing. Are insurance companies weaseling out from having to cover this med?

Being for profit organizations, they often bend to the political wind. Can you blame them?

Claiming success for something you didn't do is like middle eastern terrorist groups claiming the same.

It's a lie.

Bravo Costco for your business practices.

Ya see - the thing about Costco is they sell things in bulk. How much mifepristone is one family gonna use before it’s past its ‘best by’ date?

Seriously though, misleading and downright lying about one’s own power and influence is how Trump got as far as he has. Thanks for the look behind the curtain here.

I guess I'm going to have to go to Hobby Lobby now for morning after pills. But that may prove problematic because they are not open on Sundays. And Saturdays are my busiest days.

COSTCO treats its employees better than any other big-box store. They pay far more, have benefits, and reasonable work rules. COSTCO has the lowest employee turn over rate of any similar store (Walmart, target, ...). And, they routinely have higher profits than any of their competitors. I think COSTCO's success enrages conservatives who think retail workers should be treated like crap. Conservatives are salivating at the idea of claiming they somehow influenced COSTCO regarding abortion pills.

I STAND with COSTCO. They are one, of too few, corps willing to flip tRuMp the bird when it comes to being FOR FREEDOM to do the right thing, in the face of FascistPressure to cow-tow to a wanna be dictator, king, god. With Costco 💯

I'm sure if we looked close enough at Costco we'd find some warts, as with any large business, but Yay Costco for not being fascist douchebags! And Yay RP for defending them from cooptation by the fd's.
