I have an unshakable image in my head of DJT as the thinker sitting his flabby body on his "throne" and pondering, "I'm doing such a great job of inflicting violence on my own nation. I'm actually killing foreigner nationals left and right, at home and abroad, all for no good reason, why haven't I won the Nobel Peace Prize yet?! How many people do I have to kill to get that award???"

Is that just me, or do other people have that vision?

Maybe we should start a lobbying group whose premise is, the more people DJT, terrorizes, tortures, or kills, the more deserving he is of the Nobel Peace Prize?

I remember when law enforcement would intercept a drug shipment and then proudly display photos of the hundreds of kilos of drugs they seized. It seems like that was so much better PR in the war on drugs. People saw what their tax dollars were paying for much better than some debris in the Caribbean could do.

My question is what does this regime think it’s getting out of these attacks besides flexing their war boner? The optics are terrible and no one with any sense of decency supports it.

They miss fighting actual terrorists and they think this makes the base hard. Of course, that base is an ever-shrinking mob of sociopaths.

I wonder if this related Bug Eyes Patel firing the FBI employee stationed in the UK to work with MI5.

I'm going to have to admit I would not only tell that nice lady in the red dress everything I knew, but if it would help I would type it out for her.

A whole entire carrier group down there and they can't board and search a few small boats? It's almost like they don't want any evidence!

I think there’s about five countries in the entire world that the English have NOT tried to conquer and colonize. When you’ve lost the Brits on this kind of shit you know you’re missing the boat.

The accessories to Trump’s should be concerned about their culpability in these crimes. The SCOTUS gave Trump immunity, but not them. Nuremberg?

It isn't a very big step from disappearing and torturing accused terrorists to just killing people outright with no justification, is it?

I believe that these attacks are murder, and absolutely DISGUSTING. I ALSO believe that we as progressives should strive to be truthful.

That is why I would suggest that it is highly unlikely that the murdered people in these boats are poor Venezuelan fisherman.

These seem to be very large (maybe 40 feet or more) open boats, built for speed. The ones I have seen have 3 or even 4 large outboard motors. The cost of these motors alone would be $125,000 - $200,000 USD. Cartels bought those boats.

The average Venezuelan fisherman would be very hard pressed to even afford an 18 ft boat with a $10k motor.

Guessing its both. Poor fishermen who can't resist big bucks from running a load out to the cargo ship. Speedboats and fishing boats don't mix. It's still fucking murder and war crimes, and it won't make a dent in traffic as the supply of boats and poor desperate people is growing.

Agree, cartel or not there's no death penalty for drug trafficking

I agree with you with regard to the style of the boats. I doubt that they have the range to reach the USA from Colombia or Venezuela, so if they are carrying drugs they would probably rendezvous with, and transship the cargo to, merchant vessels heading to the US. If that's what happening it would be better to track them rather than destroy them.

They may or may not be fishermen. There's no proof either way.

The bigger point is: YOU CAN'T JUST BLOW PEOPLE UP WITH NO EVIDENCE, NO TRIAL, NO FINDINGS, NOTHING!
