Chris Harris, a member of the Hooks Independent School Board in Texas, has resigned after posting multiple racist images and messages to Facebook last week. He later explained that he wasn't racist at all; he just got a little worked up in a Facebook discussion of the grand jury's decision not to indict Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown, which is a perfectly reasonable explanation for why Harris posted this image in the discussion thread:

If you&#039;ve got dual citizenship, use it. You&#039;ve got serious skin in the game. I&#039;d make the argument that things will never change if smart, enlightened, passionate people don&#039;t stick around and change them, but that doesn&#039;t stack up against the possibility of your child being killed and the killer walking away a hero.

Seriously, though, with such a wonderful dad, those kids have no fucking chance to grow up and not be assholes. At least the other kiddies of Hooks County are spared his particular brand of nurturing.
