Thomas Hofeller, a graduate of Claremont-McKenna College and Claremont Graduate School (John Eastman's school) was a technician of racism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Hofeller I regard the Claremont schools along with Hillsdale College, University of Chicago and numerous others as bastions of racism and plutocracy.
Every attempt they make to deny the existence of systemic racism only reveals how true it is. We've seen it all over the country, from school boards to state supreme courts to legislatures.
Anita Earls is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal NC political landscape. I hope the media attention shames these assholes into dropping their sham investigation.
It's very disturbing that "conservatives" feel free to throw away the dog whistle and use buzz words as a meager fig leaf for their clearly racist agenda. Opposing CRT just means you're racist. No one can argue in good conscience that racism does not or has not existed in this country. Pretending that America's long history of racism doesn't exist, doesn't make it go away, and they know that. They've redefined racism to mean opposing white supremacy. It's dishonest, vile, disgusting. and evil. Being anti-woke just means you're racist. Giving it a new name doesn't change that fact. Ok, fine, it also means you hate women, homosexuals, transgender people, liberals, environmentalists, and a whole host of other people, but it also means you're racist. If you're opposed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, it means you support, inequity, hegemony, and exclusion. A racist by any other name smells just as vile.
But democrats are the real racists because they won’t admit that racism no longer exists. Also something about welfare and plantations that didn’t make sense when Gingrich first said it thirty years ago but republicans keep repeating it.
If we allow you into our good old boys club, you must remain in line. You must agree with us in all things. You must walk off the sidewalk, if we are on the same sidewalk. You may be seen but not heard. Thems be the rules according to White Jeebus.
The legal profession needs to flush out the Christian nationalists with JDs who are destroying democracy. Judges and state AGs seeking to impose biblical rule need to be disbarred and removed.
To top off with a cherry the fuckshitstack here in NC, the Republicans (who gained a seat when a saboteur in Dem clothing decided she had to switch parties, giving them a veto-proof majority) are fixing to overrule Cooper’s veto of their voting restrictions law. See, it’s not enough that they’ve done power grabs that prevent us from being able to get equal representation, or for them to have a veto-proof majority. They need to cement it with blocking the vote. They have to flaunt their authority and abuse.
Hopefully that young woman that took over the Dem leadership role will be able to address that more effectively. The last one seemed asleep at the wheel.
Old GOP statement of principles "...that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
Current GOP statement of principles "...that government of the very rich white people, by the very rich white people, for the very rich white people, shall not perish from the earth." Current GOP statement of principles "
Critical Race Thoery says racism is baked into the system. The actions here in North Carolina is living proof of that.

As Michael points out, that would require that they be capable of feeling shame, and there's been no evidence of that for years.
Sigh. A girl can dream.
They have no shame. They are republicans.
As a woman, I'm tired of paying taxes for a government to tell me that I'm not quite human enough to have bodily autonomy.

These Dems just don't get it. Anything that might make a conservative uncomfortable is against the law. That's it.
So Earls is being investigated and possibly punished for expressing her opinion.
Isn’t that cancel culture?
Reminds me of the accusers in the Christopher Frye play “THE LADY IS NOT FOR BURNING.”
Here, the female protagonist is accused of being a witch and sentenced to burn at the stake after she was accused of dining with the Devil.
This Earls woman sounds a bit uppity! Also, I think we've found the REAL racist, and it is Ms. Earls.
weirdos. because nobody in the history of ever has had an implicit bias.

Republicans are bad people and I do not hang out with them ever
The absolute worst thing you can do is not publicly agree that all Republicans are good people.
And that's the "good" Cackalacky.

Also, remain three steps behind us.
Three steps in front when we cross the minefield.
Uncle Ruckus Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas supports this statement

Because what good is power if you don't blatantly abuse it?
It’s like a fetish for them, and an occupation.
And yet it’s still hard as hell to get Durham/Raleigh/Greensboro twenty somethings to turn out to vote because “both parties are the same “ zzzz...

It's government of all the poor people by the very rich people
Oh it's poor people too, down there.
Orwellian, Kafkaesque, or just plain racist bullshit?
I wish they would all turn into cockroaches. They'd be easier to recognize and get rid of.
"I wish they would all turn into cockroaches" but, how would we be able to tell?
You do have a point.
We will give them that sentence at the end of the Trial
Why not all three?
