No, but it would be like slugging a mound of lard...hard to make a lasting impact.

Not only does the NRA SUPPORTS GUN RIGHTS FOR SPOUSE ABUSERS, it is now a fact that the Louisiana REPUBLICAN PARTY SUPPORTS GUN RIGHTS FOR DOMESTIC ABUSERS. Good to know.

Abbot was jogging when a tree fell on him and paralyzing him from the waist down. I believe he got a ten million dollar settlement. He's all for tort reform of course.

I think when it says "will invite abuse" it is referring to abuse of the law. Meaning that those women folk just won't be able to help themselves from making crap up in order to take the gunz away from perfectly upstanding citizens. You know, with their hormones and things clouding their judgement.

So, let me get this straight, the NRA thinks there are legions of liberal women in Louisiana who are out looking for a guy with guns, tricking him into going on a date, and then lying about him punching them so that the gubmint will take his guns?

Have I got the gist of their fears right?

Give the Lil Lady reason to own her own gun. Aim low where he wants you to blow.

Those are not mutually exclusive explanations.

One gun will do . . . if you use it on the frontal lobe of your choice.

When you 'splain it that way it doesn't sound silly at all. Not one bit.

Remember how they used to say that if you gave 1000 monkies typewriters, eventually they would produce Shakespeare? Well, it ain't Shakespeare, it's Redumblican talking points.
