NYT Doesn't Care About Black People

Outside of our not-really-a-state District of Columbia, Mississippi has the largest percentage of blacks of any state in the union -- 37% of Trent Lott's constituents are African American.

Is that why the New York Times has stubbornly kept Mississippi black on these Senate and House election maps? A Wonkette Operative writes: "The NY Times election map refuses to report Mississippi's election results and has pictured the state as black on all their maps. It's been this way for days. Check it out on their politics page. Sort of weird."
