There's a long history of great armies hating to face the Scots. I seem to recall someone named Hadrian hating it so much that he built a big old wall to avoid them:

It wasn't that weird until you upgrade it to the wormhole. That was exceptionally fucking weird.

Forcing women to register for the draft lowers women's value in a big way. Male disposability and cultural misandry will take a big hit and men will benefit greatly from this change in male-hating policy. Finally, women's lives will be considered as disposable as men's lives. Prostitutes should have no problem signing up - the financial mercenaries and peddlers of flesh that they are. Feminists only complain about periods and period cramps when discussing the draft - so that's a positive sign as well.

Given that the next round of world leadership will be Merkel - May - Clinton, it's high time women started fighting and dying, instead of just men, for women's rights. I'll betcha wars happen far less often with women on the front lines and members of the draft. How much?

Making gay's and transgender's lives equally disposable to heterosexual male lives is a bonus.

It's exactly the same. Or better I suppose with DADT repealed. Most enlisted, even true bible-beating conservatives, don't give a fuck what you do in your spare time. As long as you do your job. That's all that matters.

But folks pushing boundaries can still get fucked over just by the bureaucracy of the military. All it takes is one asshole determined to route a complaint a certain way and they can ruin someone's career.

Opening the service up to trans folk will knock down a lot of that bureaucratic bullshit though. Residue from dadt. I've got minor concerns about people transitioning getting hormones or whatever they need, but I'm sure that can be sorted pretty easily.

You can count on hang ups. I hope for the best, but it's a big, underfunded, ship to turn.

I'm navy. My brother is air force. Neither one of us understands why we're issued camo. Blending in with water or air strips?!

We wear coveralls most days. Fuck the camo, just lemme wear those comfy coveralls all the time.

Issued? We had to buy ours! (good thing most of the uniforms still fit me when I finally went active duty. )

It is so comforting to know your genetic material will never be passed on.

There's massive quantities of shit-talking, and certainly real issues with rape and legit racism, but I think overall the military integrates relatively well. Just as long as you're not too sensitive.

Probably 95% of people serving don't give a flying fuck what their fellow service members believe. Who they sleep with. If they shave their legs and don a dress on leave. All they care about is how they do their jobs. Yeah you'll get shit for your extracurricular activities. But no one really cares if you're doing your job.

I thought it was great. "I just teleported that poor fuck to Hell or something ... " ala Doom.

If women were really, truly in charge there would be fewer wars. This is because we generally understand things are accomplished by co-operating and communicating instead of posturing and punching.
