I have a dozen or so certifications in various holistic health disciplines; some if not most would be dismissed here as woo, and I don't mind that. HOWEVER, I have never ever sold a single product, and am frankly more qualified than that quack Oz because (1) I've been an office manager, (2) I'm on Medicare, and (3) I was on Medicaid.
Until I read this I did not know he was an Armenian genocide denier. It happened, no matter what he or Erdogan or any of the others may say.
Very glad Dr. Oz lost the senate race to Fetterman, but not planning on voting for Fetterman again. He is an enthusiastic supporter of Netanyahu even after traveling to Israel recently.
I understand Israel is paying expenses to bring elected American officials to Israel. Not sure if Fetterman travelled on their dime, but my money is on that probability.
Between Oz & Kennedy, I can’t say I trust American health care anymore than I’d trust third world health care.
The priority in 3rd world health care is treating the patient as well as public health. The priorities I see as a physician in the US is providing data entry for insurance companies. The goal should have never been universal health insurance, it should have been universal health care.
Fetterman has not been the same since his stroke. He was more impacted than he let on. I'm not going to say that someone with mental disabilities shouldn't run for office - but they also don't automatically earn our votes when it happens. It's a tragic situation.
To give props where props are due: at least Oz has a background in the field that the Fulvous Fuckwad tapped him for. He was a professor emeritus of cardiothoracic surgery at Columbia University prior to Oprah giving him a platform to peddle snake oil. (I don't blame Oprah, she merely opened the door to someone she thought could be a valid contributor, like Dr Phil.)

"the Healthiest Man Who Ever Lived appointed him to the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition"
* What, exactly, does a Cardiothoracic surgeon know about sports and nutrition?
* He might have an idea or two on fitness (not necessarily strength) since that is a key part to maintaining a healthy heart.
* Oz has lost all credibility over the last many years; his tv show was never fully on the up and up. IMO, he used his authority to scam millions so he could make even more money than as a practicing MD or professor.
* My spouse thinks that since Mooseballs Mussolini plays so much golf he must be getting some exercise. I like to point out to them that the exercise comes from walking the course, it doesn't come from swinging a club then jumping into a golf cart to get to your ball.

"run for Senate against John Fetterman, a race he lost after getting heartily mocked for living in New Jersey"
Sometimes carpetbaggers win (see: Lauren Boebert) and others deservingly lose (see: Mehmet Oz).
FWIW: I'm not sure who is worse between Fetterman and Oz. At least Oz is a known destructive commodity while Fetterman is the biggest disappointment from the class of 2022. No other Dem has made a pilgrimage to MaL to kowtow/genuflect before the Amber Ardipithecus ramidus, kiss his ring and his proffered shit-covered Depends-wearing asscheek.

"Most ominous Dr. Oz claim: that no one has a right to health care"
I'm sorry, but this statement is disingenuous to further discredit someone already discredited in the eyes of so many: he was referring to health and not health care:
> "It's unclear how Dr Oz justifies his confusing position that Americans do not have a right to health but do have a right to access health care." [from the link]
It's really not that confusing. Anecdotally, I've suffered from a relatively serious ailment for over twenty years. I've relied on meds and health care to help control my problem, and they have alleviated much of my pain and general discomfort... but that does not make me healthy. Health and health care are not mutually exclusive, but nor are they the same thing.
Well at least he's got a medical degree. That's all I can say about Oz in compliment. At least he's not Grimy Wormtongue, who is basically Mengele without a medical degree.
The most terrifying thing about the Oz books -- to me anyway -- was the fact that no one died. You could be cut up into many, many pieces, scattered across Oz, and remain alive and conscious. Which at this point seems to be a rather prescient idea.
Even if Oz was a decent doctor, and he’s not, that’s not really relevant to running Medicare and Medicaid. That’s much more akin to being a health insurance executive.
His experience would be far more relevant to serving as Surgeon General. (Where he’d also be lousy, of course.)
No, did not see REM. We did have an elderly woman who had been part of the 1960s Civil Rights movement teach us some of those protest songs, guitar and all.
Police came to block the road in city hall due to threat from 3 counter protesters on motorcycles threatening the protestors while the mayor was speaking.
Real Americans don't eat crudite, if we are going to eat something we are going to deep fry it first.
Not one mention of Oz killing puppies back in the day?
How soon we forget!
Anyway this is your friendly neighborhood ReminderMan reminding you about why John Fetterman trounced the quacks ass so easily.
I just cleared my asparagus patch so I can watch for the first shoots. Other years they have snuck up on me.
They are sneaky little fuckers, I'm told they have the stealth of an Arapaho
It'll be at least a week or two until it gets warm enough. Snow tomorrow apparently.
It can’t snow, I have already moved my snowblower to our barn.
It’s one-stop shopping at the Krasnov regime. A check up in the parking lot followed by legal advice from Alina Habba.
Don't forget Bobby's food concessions. Some of it may have been "locally sourced".

It did happen. And East Timor did too. And Gaza now. And others. They keep fucking happening.

"Dr. Oz “examining” Trump’s “medical records”
A Niagara of Bullshit, direct from Sir to you.
It was him or Fetterman because Connor Lamb was a milquetoast “corporate Democrat.” :(

Well, and also because America is racist and doesn't care enough about racism to make a different choice

But Pennsylvania - and America - weren't ready for that

All I can say about Oz is that there’s no place like home.
Wicked!
I don't know witch joke I like more.
OMFG we are living in The Onion
Yet it's not even remotely funny.

OT Estimated crowd of 1000 at City Hall in Athens, Georgia.... and growing.
did REM join in?
No, did not see REM. We did have an elderly woman who had been part of the 1960s Civil Rights movement teach us some of those protest songs, guitar and all.
4:30 PM - Moved to Creature Comforts annivresary party for post protest beers. Sitting next to some German guys. Can't evesdrop this language.
Police came to block the road in city hall due to threat from 3 counter protesters on motorcycles threatening the protestors while the mayor was speaking.
Those weren't motorcycles. Those were weapons of mass destruction.
While looking for another bit of information, I discovered on Ballotpedia that in the 2016 presidential primaries, HRC won her party's vote by 46.8%.
Chump? 35.9%
She beat him in every way but the one that ultimately mattered. Because of a system engineered for minoritarian rule.
A system designed to keep slaveowners on board for as long as possible has problems? Whoa if true.
She was also right about that Basket -- 35.9% would easily fit inside it!
