Even when Donna Rose cries, she still looks cute.

Her pictures always make me happy, and today I really needed a dose of happy baby face eating cake. I'm glad they share her with us. :-)

Yo, MY kids were the cutest kids of all when they were still kids. The Heir, who is now a pro pianist, my how he can play! and The Spare, now a not especially fierce US Navy warrior

Thank you for Donna Rose! Can we see her once a week? Somehow, I have a feeling that news will continue to be horrible and at least Donna Rose can perk me up. She is A. DOLL.

That was the best, wasn't it? How she was calculating every move, testing, and the little squeal of triumph when she stood up, and then carefully got down, and resumed block-play. It did make me feel better. Thanks

Babby rules okay. (I am totally in one of these pictures! Well, the northwest corner of my big head is, and that's good enough for me.)

I am right there with the video. It reminds me of watching my niece climbing on the furniture about 25 years ago. You stand there with a camera, debating in your mind whether to just let her go or get over there and help her, and then, you find she's got it covered and you're glad you let her explore it on her own.

Not saying The Queen of Us is never going to need help, but am saying that it was nice to see her exploring her world and showing everyone what she can do.
