Bill O'Reilly would just like to see a little more responsibility on the part of the media in how they cover sensitive issues, because as he's recently discovered, language can have consequences!

My issue is the how the mainstream media appears to look for the most ignorant African American to represent the entire community. Other than being black what qualifies Method Man to give social commentary? They don't only do this with African American issues they do it everywhere! Look at the vaccination debate?! How can they bring some numb nuts from "Ass-Backward Kentucky" and have them debate scientist with multiple degrees on whether or not vaccines cause autism? Just because you read an article in Newsweek, it doesn't make you qualified to be on TV(unless you are Bill O'Rielly apparently).

And sometimes it is probably about ratings, intelligent well-spoken people don't make as much noise as fools and idiots. My point is a little sideways to yours. I am just afraid that too many viewers don't get that one black man, whether he is articulate and thoughtful or is a fool, does not represent all black men.
