She was mean to him, but I don't think there is such a thing as "too mean" when you are dealing with a trumpster.

Every time members of this cult try to interact with the real world of serious people, it's like a bunch of middle schoolers working on a class project. They'll attempt to draft serious policy guidance or legal documents that end up being riddled with spelling and grammar errors, get their facts all wrong, and expose the authors as woefully underprepared, misinformed, and just plain unqualified for their jobs. It's often so bad you have to wonder if the original draft was written in crayon.

And they always seem shocked, don't they—remember the "intelligent design" people actually showing up in courtrooms thinking they had a real case to present, only to receive a humiliating lecture from the judge?

Yet they're surprised to learn that you actually do have to know something about what you're speaking of, and that the ideology they've nursed for years under the pretense of being serious, respectable policy prescriptions just waiting for an honest shot at being implemented are in fact poorly conceived, ill-defined, and unrealistic. The product of feeble minds, unfit for consumption by mature adults and sustainable only inside adolescent imaginations, and which evaporates on contact with reality.

These people have always been there, lurking around the periphery of respectable society. And you have to wonder how many of them really knew, deep down. Knew that they were selling ideological snake oil, and that it would actually be bad for business to have people comsume it en masse. That they were far better off without society at large being forced to confront the question of their legitimacy. And now realize that they need to somehow cash out before the jig is up.

Although I'm probably being too optimistic on that last point.

I have stuff I should be doing.

But what I really *want* to be doing is taking down that mishmash of paintings on a wall and rearranging them so they each have a spot in which they can shine. I have no idea how long that will take.

It is pertinent here to note that I am easily led astray.

Why is Sir even bothering with these "courts" and "hearings"? Sir kicks and squeals and locks his caps and ignores the "decisions" while Sir shouts and spits "Whaddaya gonna do about it?"

Poor dumb little Jason. "You've really made a name for yourself, Sonny."

These incels figure they're so special they needn't read anything. You can't shame them. They were taught by the likes of President Dementia, Bush the Dumber and Donald "Tiny Hands" Trump to take absolute *pride* in their ignorance.

Connie Schultz was kind enough to withhold the name of this dumb guy. By now he's probably a key part of the trumpy administration.

The blinding bigotry and ignorance displayed by those in the religious right and their supporters in attacking the rights and dignity of nearly every American citizen and immigrants is shocking not just because it’s immoral and disgusting but because when you prove their ignorance and incompetence they simply double down on stupidity and shamelessness. And this theater of madness and persecution will continue until we, the people, put an end to it.

Well, it's at least good to know that Trump's lawyers haven't broken precedent when it comes to being incompetent. Obviously, someone in the shadows wrote the papers and the nincompoop representing the "administration" didn't review them prior to going to court.

If Trump wants to be an authoritarian, surrounding himself with clueless idiots isn't going to help.

Fortunately, the percentage of people who want to work for him seems to be at least 95 percent clueless idiots.

But clueless idiots have a solid bloc of three or four votes for anything that comes before the US Extreme Court.

We are threatened by stupidity and, lord willing, will be saved by the same. These are the “Dial 1-800-SHY-STER” cretins who have been with Trump throughout his civil and criminal trials, from which he was only spared because of the creaky wheels of just-us and the Robert Supreme Clowncar.

God help all of us, if the government should ever hire lawyers who are remotely competent. Problem is that the good law schools are telling their graduates not to go to work for this particular government.

It shows.
