Over the weekend, a charming They Seem Nice video emerged of some frat bros just being frat bros on their frat bro party bus: Members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity appear to be shown in the video chanting "There will never be a nigger in SAE. You can hang them from a tree, but they'll never sign with me."
Anytime people tell me how the Greek system provides leadership experience and how many CEO's have frat backgrounds, I point to incidents like this and note how many executives do stupid stuff that gets their companies into expensive lawsuits.
Since there is nothing I can think of that's funny after watching that video, I would like to congratulate Dr. Boren for having the letters "SAE" removed from that disgusting frat house already.
I am begging a friend to weave a work of fiction out of his experiences in a fraternity some years back. From what he relates, it could be as dark as a Herman Koch/Gillian Flynn novel.
