In what has to be a huge surprise to some single-celled organisms who didn't know any better, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has decided to ignore last week's order by the state Supreme Court to remove the giant Ten Commandments monument from the grounds of the Statehouse, because God's Word, but mostly because it's not a religious thing at all -- it's just a historical marker, really!
"It is a privately funded tribute to historical events, not a taxpayer funded endorsement of any religion, as some have alleged."
That's why it starts out with "I am the Lord thy God." How does such blatant bullshit survive even 2 seconds' scrutiny? This twunt should be laughed out of office.
The "Ten commandments are the basis of our legal system" people need to squint a bit harder at their tacky icon. Only 3 of the 10 are actually illegal in our system; stealing, killing, and bearing false witness, and those are common laws available in every heathen country where people don't want to be killed or stolen from or falsely accused.

They're just begging for a good Canaan.
Ahem. Eden the good ones...?
Is this a great time to be a lawyer or what? With all this stupid, litigation as far as the eye can see.
"History" refers to events that took place in reality, not mythology and legends made up out of whole cloth.
You mean there never was a giant blue ox? Babe! First Pluto isn't a planet and now Paul Bunyan is a lie.....
Keef libel.
Taking her cue from Rich Perry.
Oy vey. The "not religious" monument is sporting two Stars of David. LoL
Bring back the lions!
Well, we should never have let the white folks go in and steal it from the first nations that we exiled to there.
The current answer is "uh, dunno." A century ago (approximately), it was the same as for Iraq ten years ago: "oil."
"Aaaa-aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!"
Ooooo-klahomaWhere the cash goes swirling down the drain
