Plus you get a fine from the Sanitation Department. I hate when that happens!

That title is funny. I went to OU and drank a lot of Natty Ice.

I always imagine his name is Assad, and he is wearing a jewel laden robe. He calmly lays his hand on my shoulder and asks if this is my first time. Wait! This is the wrong fantasy! Forget I said anything!!!

Thank you so much for telling me how stupid I am.

It's always so great to see how people who pretend to be democrats tell me I'm STUPID.

Trust me - if I could afford to buy real estate in another state I would but my the home I've lived in since the early 80s that has been paid for since the last half of the 80s will not bring enough money to make a down payment on a home of less than 10% of the same quality and level of "good neighborhood". It would not be enough to go into a hovel in a slum in a blue state.

Thanks again for telling me how stupid I am.

Double plus this. In Oklahoma, one learns rather quickly that devoted Christians are blessed to ride the holy gravy train. Praise the Lord!

I was born and raised in Oklahoma (and happily absent most of my adult life). Have you even looked elsewhere? Learning is fun.

I do not think you're stupid. The problem with OK is not real estate prices. OK is 46th in spending on education, ranks 44th in poverty. The states's overall average income is at the poverty level for a family of 4, with nearly 17 % of the population in real poverty regardless of household size. OK has refused Medicaid for the ACA so for now 127,000 and more have no health care. Congrats, you have done well.

If you don't have to pay a mortgage you can almost always live well in a poor area.
