I "love" how this has turned into "Oh, why are they pillorying this poor lady! All she did was say the n-word once! Well, THEY say it all the time, and no one loses their job!" (Pretty much what my mother said, BTW.) But this is so, so far from being about her saying the n-word. In a way, I think it's refreshing that she did admit, "Yeah, I've used the word." because saying "Oh, my, I never!" would have just been bullshit lying.
