What I read, FES is very unpredictable, very subject to phase of development, interaction with other environmental factors, who knows what, not unlike long covid. Sometimes you get away with shit. Since there is such a stigma attached to brain-damaging your infant, many of whom were brain-damaged for other reasons (...lead poisoning...) the incidence of FES has always been vastly underreported, same as all the other social damage alcohol does. But don't tell people they can't Party ad libertum.
I have an uncle who almost lost 2 of his sons to opiates. He Jesused them up real good and now they apparently don't do it, but he posts nonstop bullshit about Hunter Biden's drug use, and "scumbag fentanyl users," etc. I finally blocked his ass and don't plan on ever speaking to the man again, but he's a virulent, knob slobbing Trumpanzee, too.
The other answer is to sterilize every male baby as soon as it hits the birthing table. Vasectomy reversals free for any man who can pass a bar exam on the first try.
Does that apply to those of us in perimenopause and who have an IUD? My chances of pregnancy every month are probably hovering somewhere in the under 1% range.
Ironically menopause is directly attributable to men's preferences for younger women. The cure would ostensibly be making men have sex with older ladies. Or we could just arrest them instead.

I've been listening to Kathy Valentine's memoir, All I Ever Wanted, and she describes being raped when she was twelve and she and her mother had to fly from Texas to California so she could have an abortion, and this was in the post-Roe '70s. Now these monsters are going to make little girls carry their rapist's babies to full term? They should just start wearing turbans and calling themselves ayatollahs.
