"we've uncovered your books in our libraries and they are laced with pedophilia and incest."

The Bible?

I sense a lot of happy households.

No one should have to sit quietly and listen while Cletus the fucking Slack Jawed Yokel accuses them of promoting pedophilia. School Board members need to stand up for themselves, and we need to help them do it.

I am really fucking tired of hearing "child abuse" bullshit from these fuckers. Put a mask on your kid, that's child abuse. "That is child abuse and you have no right to brainwash children into believing that their skin color supersedes the power of constructive life choices." Maybe they need a lesson like working in a domestic violence survivor's shelter. These people screaming child abuse are so fucking desperate to be the victim without actually being one.

Also I'm feeling like abusing this person: "ANGRY PERSON: And we've uncovered your books in our libraries and they are laced with pedophilia and incest. You can't gaslight us into child-grooming psychobabble. You aren't fooling anyone anymore, especially now, that you're sitting there, doubling down on child rape. It's disgusting!" Real survivors of child rape would like to have a word with this asshole. I need to stop reading now because I've already reached my rage limit.

Ha. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that these fox-filled idiots had some sort of history class in high school but were busy eating paste the entire time.

Just an aside, I’m 63 and I haven’t read a book not on my iPad in years and years and years…I even read comics and graphic novels electronically. So burn all the books ya want ya pig f***ers. And also leave the pigs alone!

Because in these days of the internet, school libraries are where all the youngsters go to satiate their desires to read naughty stories. If you can sanitize all the school libraries then the kids will never be exposed to ideas you don't like.

I read the bible (a tiny red-covered version that I got at the bowling alley*) when I was 12 at the same time as I read Alex Haley's 'Roots' and I was horrified by both but only believed 'Roots'. The bible doesn't make any sense at all if you've read through the entire thing. An endeavor only my 12 year-old self would have the patience for.

*Who was handing out tiny red-covered bibles at the bowling alley? FFS, keep your fever dreams to yourself. If it were a Muslim doing this (in Arizona), there would be major outrage. I thank my mom every day that I was not raised with any religion.

I wonder how many of these "concerned parents" have ever talked to their kids about what they're learning in class, or have gone to parent-teacher conferences, or attended a curriculum night at the beginning of the school year.

So NOW you care?

My favorite is still Deuteronomy 25:11-12. It's so specific -

If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pityShe can bash him in the head with a brick, but she'd better not grab him by the balls or off with her hand.
