This is incorrect. I can think of at least one time when America was very, very kind to a certain class of immigrant. The government really greased the wheels for residency, employment and citizenship of Nazi scientists after World War II. So this is totally on-brand for a bunch of assholes who pine for a fifties Neverland they imagine America once was.
America once turned away a ship of Jewish families fleeing Hitler, and now the same party is out here auditioning neo-Nazis as “ideal immigrants.” That’s not immigration policy, that’s historical cosplay with swastikas.
They cry about “assimilation” while importing people whose whole vibe is refusing to live alongside anyone who doesn’t look like them. Imagine rejecting a Syrian doctor or Sudanese teacher because you’re saving room for Diet Nazis from Bavaria.
It’s the same script every time: protect whiteness at all costs, then wonder why the Statue of Liberty looks like she’s filing for divorce.
THIS is symptomatic of the biggest cancer in American politics today. That the White House can send out a press release saying "immigration must only be allowed for people who think exactly as the President does" ... and the rest of the government and the media just shrugs and capitulates.
Instead of the screaming bloody fucking murder that should be echoing from every corner of the 4th estate and the government regarding this egregious overreach and shameless fucking cultish worship.

Still haven't seen sanctions from federal judges when the regime ignores rulings or abuses the court system. And so we don't know yet whether sanctioned regime agents or officials would be jailed or forced to pay fines, in other words who is going to enforce sanctions. Wake me up when the judges get serious.

Trump wants only White refugees from European or Scandinavian countries. How many of those are there? Why would anyone want to leave countries with comparable wage structures, better healthcare and in many cases lower taxes? Can Republicans try to rejoin reality
