By proper definition, :Liberals and Conservatives are both moderate Centrists Unfortunately, Newt Gingrich redefined conservatism as some Bible thumping, Flag waving, gun toting populist nonsense, and then the 'Ayatollahs of AM' took to spreading the new Gospel to the illiterate, uneducated , and ill-informed, bringing us to the sad condition we are in today
