Oh, FFS! What’s next?

Soon those commies will want the schools to supply paper napkins in the lunchroom, maybe even toilet paper in the restrooms!

What if the kids are already communist? Is it OK to just give them tampons then?

Same argument is of course being made as for free school lunches: “What if someone who could otherwise afford lunch/tampons uses the program?!?” To which I say, “Try learning how economics works, idiot. If teens don’t pay for one thing, they have more money to buy something else. Which improves the overall economy.

“Plus, go fuck yourself, you horrible ghoul.”

Oh, you mean Ted Cruz?

You know, all those horrible ghouls kinda look alike.

I think I understand. Government doing stuff for its citizens is communism. Government taking away your rights is democracy. Is that right?

Well, it does turn out that Steph was one of the Rep Reps who walked out on the J6 hero cops.

It's not like schools are going to be providing those really good Always Radiant pads. They'll probably be better than those boats we had to use in junior high, but young girls don't usually ultra plus. FFS, this is truly a war on women, often by women.

So, maybe Rep. Stephanie Borowicz's campaign slogan should be "Better bled than red". Yuck.

Why does it never occur to these reich wing fanatics that if they're so dead set against the government providing for people's needs, then that provides a perfect opportunity for the private sector to step in? Just any old time, they can go ahead and form their little Jeebus approved social welfare organization and relieve the gummint of that onerous responsibility.

Of course they won't, because what they really want is for people to provide for themselves. And if they can't because of all the reasons, well, they should have made better choices. Like being born wealthy and white.

“ I always wonder what people like Rep. Borowicz think would happen if we got rid of all the social programs and didn’t provide anyone with anything and instead just let them suffer.”

As an ex-right-winger I can tell you: Work or starve. They think that the “moochers” will finally be forced to find work or die. If they suffer and die, they deserve it.
