Bud may have overheard the murder of his owner, Martin Duram, in 2015, and since shortly after the murder, the parrot been repeating what sounds like an argument between a man and a woman, ending with the phrase "Don't fucking shoot!" If you notice, that trial also takes place in 2016! The DL-6 case file says it happened in 2001, and they say it was 15 years ago.
