I could do my personal library like that. Maybe have two set up as columns. And, have one for my shoes, in my closet.

Oh, the black one is the ostrich one? I thought that was the $18,000 python jacket. I get my 15-20g jackets easily confused tho, 'cos I'm gauche, I guess.

I know. It's like that church hymn, Doxology. Sounds like a medical term, not a song.

Some of my best friends are samaras.

And the Russians outright campaigned for Bernie Sanders, per Mueller's indictment. But that's a "conspiracy theory rabbit hole?" Like J esus! Stop with the bias!

So when the Trump campaign staffers do something, it's treason ... When Bernie campaign staffers do it, it's just politics ...

I'm not "claiming" anything. I'm saying the entire fucking system is corrupt, and corruption has a way find all the nooks and crannies.

I would imagine in most cases, if a defendant with such a bad case insisted on going so far into court proceedings, a prosecutor would be loath to make a deal. But given the stakes, at this point, its just money for Manafort and he's already deep in hock. Maybe he is trying to get a better deal, who knows. Maybe Mueller will tell him to piss up a rope if Manafort waits til the last minute to request formally a deal.

Either way, as you mention the evidence against him is egregious. If he insists on going to a jury for a verdict, and he is deemed guilty, the history books will be talking about this for a long time. It's a federal case if I understand correctly, so Trump could possibly pardon Manafort.

That's encouraging.

Agreed. And the Tad Devine thing has the potential to bring some mud to sling.

That would be foolish, since Mueller & Co. would get to cross him afterward.

Or just unbelievably clueless and incompetent.

They may not even present Gates because they have enough without him. I don't want to say "stick a fork in him," so I'll just say "stick a spoon in him."
