I really, really miss Civil Service. They were the wall between lobbyists and legislatures. Kept legislators from filing stupid bills. We've lost 'government BY the people' to government by contractor. Time to put people to work maintaining and operating our own public property instead of hiring contractors. End privatization. Take back public property management back into Civil Service jobs.
