Such good news, happy 😃

Michigan flipped its entire legislature blue a couple years ago. We will deliver the mitten for Harris/Walz.

The mitten AND it's club!

Interesting that with the exceptions of Michigan and Nevada, 3rd party candidates seem to hurt Trump more than Harris.

Obama was HOPE…Kamala is JOY…let’s remember that…

I've seen a poster for Walz with "OPE" on it

lol, that's great! Imma have to get one of those!

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE ON ANY STATE - we cannot win by ceding half the country to Magats.

Sorry I yelled.

Looked like exuberance to me.

I think Trump would dump his wife for Kamala.

CambridgeKnitter's avatar

She's got way better taste than that.

I'm happy about Zonerland. We tease them that they don't understand the concept of crosswalks and traffic signals, but I guess getting out of the sun before their brains boil out is what they have learned.

And oddly they trust us to not run over their cargo shorts asses. I wouldn't. Trust us that is.

Happy about N.C. Worked in VA once and had a lot of good customers from NC.

I know we will never get the soul of the Confederacy, S.C., but making GA competitive is great.

Poor Nikki. She really don't know what she don't know.

Too bad about Nebraska. My father's family was from there. But I guess NE is not CA.

Son in law from Ohio. Says he dunno what happened there. He has stayed in CA since he got out of the Navy like 30 years ago. I guess it's the water here or sumpting.

Go Cali Gurl! Go Coach Tim!

The gerrymandering doesn't help.

Not in Statewide races anyways....

I try not to blue-sky, I try to remain realistic, but dammit…

I THINK OHIO IS IN PLAY.

I think Utah is in play. Trump will be - 10 by September.

Fingers crossed. _ESPECIALLY_ for Sherrod.

I'm so enthused by this campaign, I've decided to knock off a big bucket list item, and travel to DC for the inauguration in 2025. I saw Obama clinch the election in 08 at Grant Park, and dammit, I'm gonna be in DC when the first woman gets inaugurated.

with you there in grant park. one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Hey I'm just seeing this, but yes, what a magical night. Just incredible how the crowds took over Michigan Ave. Such joy and hope.

I was staying in the Loop for a conference over election night 2012, CNN had a crew set up in one of the squares with a Jumbotron, the vibe in the city was electric- it felt so good with the positive energy all around. Everyone was walking around with a smile, just so cool to just walk around and experience.

My 14 year old daughter and I are on the list to get tickets. I already have my hotel reserved. HERstory made! 🤞🏽

"Polls, heh! How can you trust polls when the respondents are older people who answer their landlines and younger people who pick up their cell phones even if they don't recognize the calling number?"

"But the polls now have Harris tied or ahead in several swing states, and you've changed your mind on the polls."

"The new polls have the same survey populations - older people who answer their landlines and younger people who pick up their cell phones even if they don't recognize the calling number."

Anzu's avatar

If your phone number says "TOLL FREE NUMBER" you're going straight to voicemail.

With trends like this who needs enemies? Kamala FTW!

I swear to god, you guys, I feel like we're having a zeitgeisty campaign. GenX is having a MOMENT right now that is really memeable, and JOY is the perfect point of generational intersection that I think is gonna bring out record youth turnout (a difference maker and probably NOT reflected well in those polls). I work in MR and every study we have have done with GenZ for the past YEAR (not about politics, just about who they are) has shown their profound prioritization of joy and creative expression (aka FREEDOM). As I said on another site: "Gen Z is animated by a "content creator" ethos centered in (setting their social media algorithms to seek) joy, personal expression rooted in both play and progress, hopescrolling rather than doomscrolling, a focus on local action, expressing an interest in and attempting to make things better wherever they can (while not expecting to change the world), and a commitment to intersectionality and community. Does that not describe the Harris-Walz campaign? Feels like a potential zeitgeist moment to me!"
