Maybe if The Troops™ gave more of a shit and started taking out payday loans to drop into congress-members' pockets, instead of "for food for their kids" or whatever selfish things they use their money for, they wouldn't find themselves being exploited by Republicans quite so often.

Most of those fighting did so because their government asked them to, couldn't see an alternative future for themselves, wanted to test their own courage, and a few other good reasons.
