How about an undisclosed location in the wh. Let them decide. I guess they are adults now & be able to make up their own "minds"?They have the utmost respect for Bone Spurs, so carry on.

Is there any penalty for cadets if they just don't show up? Most colleges will just mail your degree to you if you miss the ceremony, but I don't know if the military academies make attendance mandatory. So could they just call in sick and pick up their gear later?

What will happen is that several cadets will contract Covid-19 and not realize it until they report for duty a few weeks later, at which time, they will have injected others at their new posting. Military readiness will be impeded, but at least Trump will have gotten to strut around the stage to applause as he talked about yacht orgies or something else completely inappropriate.

You're right, this entirely about his pathetic need for adoring crowds.

maybe they could say they have a bad case of bone spurs and can't make it. or does that only work if you're rich?

Sadly there is ... all they've worked for over the years would vanish and there's the possibility of court martial or flat out expulsion. Also, since it is tuition free AND they get a $10,000 annual stipend which would more than likely be due in full the day after the no-show ...they really have little to no choice ...

What'll he do if they pull an NYPD/De Blasio on him? Just stand at attention with their backs to him? I mean, there'll be cameras there and everything.

He could do latrines okay. He's supposed to be an obsessive hand-washer, anyway; tell him he's got to eat in there, and it'll be cleaned up sharp.

Well, once he stops crying and screaming "UNFAIR!!"

Someone will talk him out of it. I'm sure. Right? He's been shut down over stupid shit before. This seems right up there in that category. I mean, if his minions had listened to him about COVID, there'd be some dude in a buggy ringing a bell down your street by now. 20% chance this speech happens.

I would've loved to hear what trump would say tho. How would he use this opportunity...Its like the one guy in the horror movie. You know that dude is going down...its just how he goes down that's the interesting unknown.

In the Civil War holding Union PoWs in tightly packed conditions while refusing medical care caused mass deaths. The commander was shot after trial as a war criminal.

We are now doing that to children.

And both of these people, detestable and disgusting as they were, had actual military experience.

>If our side is smart--or at least not as bungling as last time

We faced the Russians, the NYTimes, the FBI, vote suppression, and likely fraud.

And still won by 3M votes.
