We are making a non-cooked version of sort of thing tonight, but maybe this very one next year? or for New Year's Day, perhaps?

But in any case, I'd add one of our ingredients to this dish: freshly grated ginger, and lots of it.

This will be made for dinner today, and I'll toss in about 3/4 cup of sugar. And then it's fingers crossed.

**** Show some confidence for once****I made this recipe. Except in a pie. Forgot to add enough sugar, because sugar makes you high.It was still good all tart n sour. Also, made stovetop and added juice from Orange, plus vanilla instead of bourbon.

When I was a kid, my mother always served that canned crap - sliced. So gross.

We prefer our cranberry sauce A La Bart.

CH3-CH2-OH has a lower vapor point than H2O. That's one possible reason, evaporation.

Currently chilling in the pantry - we'll see what folks think around dinner time.

I have yet to try the recipe but this is my favourite Wonkette post title ever. Yes, I'm weird.
