I'm not a baker. I didn't even know there was refrigerated yeast. I don't even remember why I was looking for yeast the last time. It was just impossible to find. It's still sitting in the cabinet and I have no idea why.

Fort Lost In The Woods trained two different types of enlistees back in my day - logistics guys and intelligence guys. I was an intelligence guy, so I spent two days in an area called Secret Square before actual basic training filling out questionaires and being interviewed or interrogated. I was supposed to be a Hungarian language specialist but my SCI clearance blew up when they found that my old landlord had filed a judgment against me instead of any of my former housemates for unpaid utility bills. I managed to avoid four years of being a truck driver (a skill that I would have liked to have learned as my life unfolded) by being medicaled out of basic training because of a problem in my shoulders where I can only support my body by my arms for only a second or so. I also have limited range of motion in my shoulders as well, which explains why when I was a kid I was good at throwing a Frisbee but sucked at throwing a football.
