No, no! Much better to be a lawyer than a professor. As I tell my son also. They're always whining about someone who said a mean thing in a book review and they get into those cardigan sweaters and stop shaving. I just thought you must be one, because of how you'd figured all that, who else would have had the time and concentration? Well I'm sorry you're bored but I think you're fab. Can you believe my story about telling my father in law about the Salvadoran rebels? They were unmoved by my argument, yet were 'decent people?' And today, I heard Chuck Todd say, at a table with a black man sitting there, "No one has ever said Jeff Sessions lacks in-TE-grity." Same thing. Grrrr.

I love your perspective in the latter half of the article. Uncovering the motivations of those who gravitate to conspiracies really humanizes them, which I think is important for reunifying our country. United we stand, divided we fall.
