The US was founded on white supremacy and male supremacy. When people say "it's the greatest country in the world!" I want to hit them. It wasn't great from the outset, there have been long periods of not-greatness, and it continues to be not great.
We just watched that. As folks who've had a load of Floriduh experience, that movie NAILED IT. Great performances, and shows the true Florida that exists.A few pockets of sanity on the coasts have a hard time making up for the swath of yahoo toothless white turds who call it home.
VT, Maine, New Hampshire, Mass, upstate NY and the 'quiet corner' of CT are all lovely. And while there are bumpkins, trolls and racists, there seem to be WAY fewer of them in 'open-carry' mode then we've encountered in the South.
They also have fab pet-friendly policies at some of their properties--rooms that are actually in decent shape.

Indiana is among my (ever growing) list of states I have hated and hope to never set foot in again. South Carolina still sits at number 1!
