He's goofy.

Will the court case be on ESPN, CNN, or Court TV?

Whatever, it'll be great entertainment if Sterling insists on taking the stand. You know he will.

Well the whole "I didn't get due process" load of horse apples is getting traction with the mouth-breathers who wander the comment threads at ESPN. When they aren't saying "What, you've never said anything un-PC in your life?" or "Blacks are just too sensitive is all". As for the fine, he doesn't have to pay it. The NBA will just deduct it from his next payment from their TV deal.

But in his defense, he is quite wealthy.

The NBA said the fine will be going to anti-discrimination groups rather than into the coffers of the league.

The NBA will simply deduct $2.5M from the various payments it makes to every team for sharing the revenues from jersey sales, other licensed merchandise, television rights payments, etc.

Sterling has to stretch this out until he dies. The capital gains tax on a $800 Billion to $1 Trillion sale would be huge. He paid $12 Million for the team and after all the depreciation over the years he probably has no basis left.

I do not think the Clips are worth $800 Billion :)

I credit Magic Johnson for this, when he suggested that Donald Sterling "Sell the team, take the money and enjoy the rest of your life."

Sterling, being very proud of his pigshit-infused Goblin-American heritage, of course can't take the very reasonable and absolutely correct advice of a Black Person.
