Red & Blue Jumps the Shark

When we heard ABC was developing a new TV show called "Red & Blue," we were pretty excited. What else could it be, we figured, except a reality show in which color-coded soothsayer David Brooks has to go a few round with one of the guys from "The Contender" every time he divines a new truism about American life via 50 Cent songs and teen virgin stats? Alas, it turns out that "Red & Blue" is just a sitcom about "a conservative grandfather and a liberal father [who] disagree over how to raise [the] next generation." Nice going, ABC. Sounds like a great way to recapture the glory days of "Dharma & Greg."— GREG BEATO
